She is a Cake and Skill Educator, who leads brilliant and innovative strides in the Cake and Confectionery industry. She is the revolutionary mind behind widely-acclaimed Cake recipes and products that enrich human life.
In 2017, Ibi Fiberesima made her grand entry into the business of baking Cakes, after she launched her own brand, Fibibakes - a Baking firm that creates lifelong memories for hundreds of its clients - both individuals and corporate organizations, all geared towards fulfilling its mission of "Baking The World Into A Better Place By Enriching Lives With Good Taste".
Ibi Fiberesima has a Bachelors (B.Sc.) degree in ”Bio Medical Technology " from the University of Portharcourt, where she attained high academic qualifications in her chosen discipline. However, her drive for entrepreneurship has earned her great visibility within Rivers State, Nigeria and beyond the borders.
She started her company - Fibibakes- as an undergraduate, from her small accommodation space on the university campus, and within 4+ years of operation, she has built an irresistible brand in the Baking industry. This is a testament of the power of hard work, vision and persistence - 3 core traits possessed by great and visionary individuals, such as "Fibi".
Beyond the actual Baking activity, Ibi Fiberesima loves sharing her journey with other young entrepreneurs in the Baking industry. She has trained 1000+ Bakers in Nigeria through leveraging digital media - including 100+ Ugandan Bakers, and other young entrepreneurs that benefit from her teachings, across diverse platforms, online.
She is the proud author of 3 powerful books, which contains deep insights on her tested and proven Baking secrets, recipes and business strategies. Her book titled, " Baking tricks" was successfully published in 2019 - which opened her up to many media features, as well as, industry awards of excellence. Such includes: Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Biomedical Association (University of Portharcourt Chapter), Best Cake Publication - Top Baker 2020, Social Impact Awards hosted by Inkbled-Africa, and a media feature on the Growing Woman Blog, amongst others.
